Floral Skirt

I made this skirt a long time ago, but never photographed it to show it. I accidentally made the project too ambitious for the amount of fabric I had, so the skirt isn't as A-line as I might have liked. That's why I added the ruffle. (I didn't do any pattern-making at all - the fabric was that small, really - I just stuck some elastic on top.)

Locked in My Room/Bored Hairdo

A couple nights ago I was basically locked into my room because my brother's friend was at our apartment to work on a project and my mom was entertaining her parents in the living room, so I stayed in my room for a long time (I couldn't tell how long), practiced my audition song for "Anything Goes", and took self-portraits and other pictures.

My bookshelf top arrangement - vintage glass bottles and one of my mom's old Bally jars with glow-in-the-dark stars in it, plus an old to-the-side art project and my beautiful fashion mood board.

My bookshelf top arrangement in general - you can also see my old Coke bottles/feathers, a strip of cloth, an elephant that my friend gave me from Sri Lanka, a glass zebra, a very indie-ish colored pencil drawing, and a clay bowl that was a parting gift from a different friend filled with stones and shells.

The headband is a strip of t-shirt fabric I was making into yarn.

I'm wearing a necklace I made myself and a charm necklace with a pair of scissors.
