Oops...

No photos for a while now, because I left my camera in Gita and Bhaskar's house. This is an excuse to use my mom's old analog camera :D, but no uploading.

Summer Collection

I would sell it all, but three quarters of it is for my mother's birthday, and the remaining quarter will stay with me at all costs. ;) Besides, I only have one of each. I love The Pear Tree.

On the Way Home...

I was experimenting with the retouching options on my camera (that I never noticed before...) while at a rest stop; here are the results.
Fisheye
Not retouched, but intentionally used finger (I don't know what I was thinking)
"Nostalgia"

None, I just thought it was pretty outside

Beacon Hill

We took a walk on Beacon Hill after spending hours at the library while my mom was at work. Can't you just see ladies in Edwardian/Victorian dresses with parasols walking out of these apartments? Especially in the third picture.

Frog (well toad, actually, probably, but whatever.)

frog

The spotted frog
Sits quite still
On a wet stone;

He is green
With a luster
Of water on his skin;

His back is mossy
With spots and green
Like moss on a stone;

His gold circled eyes
Stare hard
Like bright metal rings;

When he leaps
He is like a stone
Thrown into the pond;

Water rings spread
After him, bright circles
Of green, circles of gold.

(haha that second picture is HILARIOUS!!)

NYC

There are always interesting people in the city. What caught me about this woman is the grace with which she carries herself and listens. This photograph doesn't quite capture her posture but I liked the expression best between a few other photos I took. (I had to pretend I was taking photos of the square, but she still looked at me -wince-)
